Executive Action: Guarasi Rejoins Pillar Media
• Michael Guarasi has joined Pillar Media as General Sales Manager for Contemporary Christian WAWZ (Star 99.1), serving Northern New Jersey and New York City, and Christian AC WAKW (Star 93.3)/Cincinnati.
The move is a Pillar Media homecoming for Guarasi, who previously served as a senior business development executive for Star 99.1 from 2019 to 2021. For the past three years Guarasi was General Sales Manager for Townsquare Media’s five-station Trenton-Jersey Shore group — WKXW (New Jersey 101.5), 94.5 WPST, WJLK (94.3 The Point), 92.7 WOBM, and WCHR (105.7 The Hawk).
