J Steele Named VP/Programming, Zelus Phoenix
• Zelus Media Group proudly announces that Jonathan “J” Steele, Brand Manager/morning co-host of KKFR (Power 98.3)/Phoenix has been elevated to Vice President of Programming for the Phoenix market. In his newly expanded role, Steele will serve as Brand Manager for both Power 98.3 and Rhythmic Hot AC KMVA (Hot 97.5 & 103.9), while retaining his other daytime gig as co-host of J & Jay In The Morning on Power 98.3.
It was concurrently announced that previous KMVA Brand Manager Michael Gallagher will take on expanded responsibilities as Operations Manager for Zelus Media Group.

Steele was named Brand Manager of KKFR in March 2023, transitioning from the PD post at AGM’s KKSS (Kiss 97.3) and KKRG (Mix 105.1)/Albuquerque, NM. Steele’s earlier stops include APD/afternoons for Beasley Classic Hip Hop WMGC (105.1 The Bounce)/Detroit and PD of Martz Communications’ WAMO/Pittsburgh.
