The Wolf Wakes Up With Ellen & Aaron
• Audacy Country KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle has launched a new morning show — Ellen & Aaron, hosted by Wolf veterans Ellen Tailor and Aaron Crawford.
For Tailor (left), this is a homecoming — she originally joined The Wolf as morning co-host in 2011, earning a CMA nomination for Major Market Personality just a year later. She later moved to middays, and in 2018, following the Entercom/CBS Radio merger, she transitioned to KCPQ-TV (Fox 13) as the morning features reporter.
Crawford (right) has been an active touring Country artist in the Northwest, recording over five studio albums and performing 200+ shows in 2025. He’s also the host of The Wolf’s Cascade Country, highlighting regional artists every Sunday at 6pm PT.
“We are excited to bring Ellen back home and welcome Aaron to mornings on 100.7 The Wolf,” said Drew Bland, Brand Manager of 100.7 The Wolf. “With Ellen’s established rapport and Aaron’s local stage presence, this show is a celebration of everything our community loves. Our listeners are in for a ride as we set a new chapter in Northwest mornings.”
Ellen & Aaron replaces The Morning Wolfpack, hosted by Matt McAllister, which ended last month. However, former Morning Wolfpack co-host “Captain Ron” Koons, a Washington native and Army veteran, will serve as the Executive Producer for Ellen & Aaron.
“What made this idea of returning to 100.7 The Wolf exciting was that it didn’t feel like going backward,” said Tailor. “It felt like adding something new and creatively fulfilling to a life I already loved, and I’m grateful to the team at Audacy for this opportunity.”
Crawford commented, “I’m beyond excited to join the team at The Wolf. The opportunity to be a part of such an incredibly creative environment, and to join forces with Ellen Tailor on her return to morning radio, is such an honor. I can’t wait to be part of the way the Great Northwest wakes up.”
The new weekday lineup for 100.7 The Wolf is as follows — 6-10am: Ellen & Aaron • 10am-3pm: Katie & Company • 3-7pm: Afternoons With Coop • 7-10pm: Rob & Holly.
