Pros On The Loose: Matt Cooper

• RAMP has learned that Matt Cooper has exited as Program Director and midday host at SummitMedia Country WCYQ (100.3 The Wolf)/Knoxville, TN.

Cooper had been on the job there since Sept. 2023, when he earned the transfer — and PD stripes — from sister WQNU (Q103.1)/Louisville, where he was APD/afternoon personality.

Cooper earlier spent five years doing nights at Hubbard Country WUBE (B105.1)/Cincinnati, and previously plugged in at WTMX/Chicago, WXSS (103.7 Kiss FM) & WMYX (99.1 The Mix)/Milwaukee, and he also spent some quality time in Rockford, IL at WZOK and WKGL (96.7 The Eagle).

Looking ahead, Cooper is now seeking his next opportunity and can be reached at 708-670-4438 or mstep316@aol.com.
