Changes At Townsquare San Angelo

Townsquare Media announces several significant management changes in its San Angelo, TX cluster — let’s start with veteran programmer John Flint, who steps back as Market President/Chief Revenue Officer and now assumes the role of Director of Programming & Operations for Country duo KGKL 97.5 and KKCN (Kickin’ Country 103.1), News-Talk KGKL-AM, Hot AC KELI (i98.7) and Mainstream Rock KNRX (96.5 The Rock).

Flint will also serve as day-to-day PD and morning personality on KGKL. Flint is probably best known for his multiple runs with crosstown Foster Communications in a variety of roles, including Director of Sales, until 2015.

And there’s more — James Pickens, formerly of iHeartMedia San Antonio has been named as Townsquare’s new San Angelo Market President. Concurrent with these personnel moves, OM Boomer Kingston and KGKL morning talent Catfish Cooper both exit.
