Gann Named RSVPP for iHeartMedia Central Texas

iHeartMedia announced that Brian Gann has been promoted to Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for its Central Texas Region, overseeing all on-air content and music and digital programming for the 15 radio brands in the company’s Austin and San Antonio Regions. Fortunately, Gann is already deeply familiar with this particular area, having most recently served as PD of the company’s Spoken Word formats in the Central Texas Region and directly oversaw WOAI & KTKR-AM/San Antonio and KVET-AM/Austin. He has worked for iHeartMedia since January of 2014, transitioning from the OM post for Journal Broadcast Group Tulsa. Gann will remain based in San Antonio and report to Tony Coles, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to program some of the leading radio station brands in Central Texas,” said Gann. “Great things are happening for iHeartMedia in Austin and San Antonio, and I’m humbled to be a part of it.”
