Homes For Homeless Dogs

How cool is this? Johnjay Van Es, co-host of the syndicated Johnjay & Rich Show and his lovely family is featured in a People magazine story about how he has combined the power and reach of his nationally-syndicated radio show with social media to find forever homes for over 500 dogs, thanks to his #LovePup campaign, which was launched in 2015 and has garnered celebrity support from artists like Selena Gomez, Zedd and Enrique Iglesias.

“I would post pictures of them up on my Instagram and I would find homes for them right away,” said Johnjay (center), surrounded by his wife, Blake, and their three sons — Jake, 14, Kemp, 13, and Dutch, 10. “It just started evolving from that. It was never a burden. It was always fun and passionate and organic and real.” Johnjay also discussed how he’d like to expand their efforts by launching a #LovePup chapter in every city. The story is posted online.
