A2IM Inks Machurov To Lead Biz Dev
• The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) welcomes Alex Machurov as Head of Business Development. In this new role, Machurov will oversee A2IM’s strategic partnerships as well as sponsorship opportunities for the association’s event properties like the annual Indie Week Conference and the Libera Awards.
Machurov has more than two decades of experience in music and live event partnerships, having spent over 10 years at Superfly where he oversaw brand sponsorships and activations for some of the country’s largest music festivals, including Bonnaroo and the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, among others. Machurov earlier served as Chief Revenue Officer at Revolution Marketing and VP of National Events & Experiential Partnerships at iHeartMedia.
