Matt & Ramona Held Over @ The Link

Entercom Charlotte has inked a multiyear contract renewal with Matt Harris and Ramona Holloway, keeping the 17-year-old Matt and Ramona show rolling in afternoon drive on WLNK (107.9 The Link). After signing the paperwork and shaking hands with everyone, VP/Market Manager Matt Hanlon said, “Matt and Ramona’s commitment to our listeners and the community set them apart from any other afternoon entertainment in Charlotte. That is precisely why they continue to be the dominant ratings leader for WLNK-FM. Their commitment to community, brilliant entertainment and passion for our listeners make them an ideal program for the culture we foster at Entercom Communications.”

Harris and Holloway first met at WNCI/Columbus, OH, while working together on The Morning Zoo. In 2000, they left the nest and teamed up as a show for the first time at WVNZ/Norfolk. A year later, the duo arrived in Charlotte, and the rest, as they say, has been history for the past 17 years. Harris commented, “We are excited to work with Pat Paxton, Matt Hanlon, Darrin Arriens and the top media company in the land, Entercom Communications.” Ms. Holloway added, “We will continue to build our relationship with the listeners and the community of Charlotte and its surrounding areas.
