Classix 107.9 Philly Debuts ‘Middays With Shaila’
• Radio One Urban Oldies WPPZ (Classix 107.9)/Philadelphia formally announces the addition of major market pro Shaila Scott as the station’s new midday personality.
Scott got her start at WBLK/Buffalo, NY during her junior year at the State University College at Buffalo, graduating with a B.A. in Broadcasting. She went on to enjoy a lengthy and successful career in New York, with a memorable stint at WRKS (98.7 Kiss FM) as the first host of Kissing After Dark, and co-host of the The Kiss Wake Up Club, and later, middays at WBLS/New York until June 2022. Scott most recently did weekends/fill-in at Audacy Classic Hip Hop WXBK (94.7 The Block)/New York.
