Yule Love Christmas Steve
• Rich Berra, the “Rich” half of iHeartMedia’s nationally syndicated Johnjay and Rich Show has put his spare time to very good use writing The Tale of Christmas Steve, a hilarious and heartwarming holiday children’s book. The whimsical story about a Christmas elf is a timely reminder that everyone has something unique to offer – no matter the outside package.
Originally from St. Louis, Berra has been in radio since he was 14 years old. He and his radio partner, Johnjay Van Es cofounded the #LoveUp Foundation, which focuses on enriching the lives of children in the foster care system and supporting children and families in need. The Tale of Christmas Steve is his first book.
When asked how the idea for Christmas Steve came about, Berra told RAMP, “I used to make up stories for my kids… since I was too lazy to go grab actual books. And this story took on a life of its own. I wrote it down to remember for next year, and BAM! Here it is!”
Proceeds from the sale of The Tale of Christmas Steve will benefit the Johnjay and Rich Christmas Wish program, a division of #LoveUp, which provides food, clothing, comfort and holiday presents to those in need. Currently available for pre-order, The Tale of Christmas Steve drops this Thanksgiving.
