Dollar Named OM Of Alpha Media Amarillo

• Bill Dollar has safely arrived in Amarillo, TX as the newly named Operations Manager for Alpha Media’s four-station group: Country KGNC-FM, Classic Hits KXGL (100.9 The Eagle), Rhythmic KVWE (WE 102.9), and News-Talk-Sports KGNC-AM (710/97.5).

Dollar (left) spent the past five years as OM of Cumulus Media’s Albany, GA group. Before that he enjoyed an eight-year run as PD of Country cousin WLWI/Montgomery, AL, preceded by a lengthy run as OM/PD/afternoon talent at WTSH-FM/Rome, GA.

Dollar succeeds Scott Gaines, who left last November to join SummitMedia Knoxville as OM & PD of WCYQ (100.3 The Wolf).
