Fleckenstein & Riccitelli Named RCA Co-Presidents
• John Fleckenstein and Joe Riccitelli have been named Co-Presidents of RCA Records. In this role, the two will oversee the day-to-day operations of the label, excluding A&R. Fleckenstein previously held the role of EVP of RCA Records while Riccitelli served as GM/EVP Promotion of RCA Records. Both gentlemen will remain in the company’s New York headquarters and report to Chairman and CEO Peter Edge, who said, “I’m excited for this next chapter in RCA’s history and I couldn’t be more thrilled to elevate John and Joe into these enhanced roles. Their knowledge in their respective areas and relationships with the artists themselves have helped turn RCA into the thriving community it has become over the last couple of years. We’re so fortunate to have an incredibly experienced, strong senior management team driving the company toward further success.”

Over the past three years since Fleckenstein joined RCA Records as EVP, he has driven breakthrough marketing campaigns with new signings such as Khalid, SZA, Bryson Tiller and more, as well as more established artists including Foo Fighters, P!NK, Pentatonix, Justin Timberlake and WALK THE MOON, among others. Prior to joining RCA, Fleckenstein served as EVP of International for Sony Music. He also held various roles at Arista Records, Jive Records and abroad, including Sydney, Australia, where he lead marketing and promotion for the Asian-Pacific Region. He began his career as an intern at Columbia Records.
Since being promoted to GM/EVP Promotion, RCA Records in 2013, Riccitelli has led his team to securing hit records for Justin Timberlake, P!NK, Zayn, Kesha and others, as well as emerging talent including Khalid, G-Eazy, Cage The Elephant, Bleachers and more. Prior to joining RCA Records, Riccitelli was EVP of Promotion, Jive Records since 1999. He also worked at Island Records and PolyGram Records, where he began his career in 1985 as an advertising clerk.
