Services Set For Dave Robbins
• While our industry continues to come to terms with the recent untimely passing of veteran programmer, manager, friend and mentor, Dave Robbins, “Radio’s Best Friend,” Art Vuolo wanted to share the information on Dave’s memorial services:
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28 from 6 to 8pm at the Woodland Memorial Park Funeral Home, 400 Woodland Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734.
The funeral and graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29 from 2 to 4pm at the same location. There will be a reception afterward at the West Orange Country Club, 3300 West Orange Country Club Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Gotha, Florida is located between Hwy 408 and Hwy 91 just north of Windermere and next to Lake Rose.
A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held in Columbus, OH after the first of the year, time and date TBA.
Robbins (born David Robinson) died on Monday, December 17 after he was stricken with what was described as a massive heart attack. He was only 59 years old. Our deepest condolences go with Dave’s wife, Patti and their son, Daniel.
