Ft. Wayne Awaits Your Arrival
• Adams Radio Group has an immediate opening for an experienced programmer to take over the lead (and afternoon drive) at heritage Top 40 WJFX (Hot 107.9)/Fort Wayne, IN, as Robbie Mack announced his impending departure after nearly eight years for a new opportunity TBA.
Candidates must have a passion for today’s Top 40 format and its listeners. WJFX is programmed to reflect the musical tastes of Fort Wayne and is currently ranked No. 1 in several key demos. The person we hire should be creative, fresh, local in their content, and be able to engage with listeners across multiple platforms. Applicants should have a minimum of two years programming experience, or similar, and MusicMaster knowledge is a plus. Robbie Mack also programs Adult Hits WWFW (103.9 Wayne FM), so programming responsibilities for more than one station will be considered.
If you are: A) Looking to make your next move to a better market with a good quality of life; B) An APD or MD elsewhere, who has some experience and is ready to take your first programming job; C) Working for a company where you only implement corporate programming, or D) On the beach — then this might be the job for you.
To apply, please email your resume, aircheck, cover letter telling us why you are a fit for HOT 107.9 and social media examples to OM JJ Fabini at jjfabini@argfw.com. No phone calls, please. Adams Radio Group is an EOE.
