Lizzy Loses Her Alarm Clock

• Changes are coming to morning drive on Townsquare Media Top 40 WMME (92 Moose)/Augusta, ME, as it was announced that, after 3 1/2 years on the dawn patrol alongside Brand Manager Matt James, Lizzy Snyder is transitioning to middays, starting in July.

An emotional Snyder (left, with James) made her big on-air announcement last Friday, stating, “I’m still here… still Moose… still me… just a little later in the day,” she said.

Matt James said he will soldier on solo in mornings as the search begins for a suitable successor to Snyder. James laid out the parameters in a website post that reads, in part, “What are we looking for in a solid candidate? Obviously getting up early is a must, but more than that, we need someone who likes to have fun, cares deeply about Central Maine, and has their finger on the pulse of all things local. We would love to have someone who thrives on giving back to the community they live and work in. Someone who is eager to create unique, custom and local content for our show, website and social pages. You would be part of Central Maine’s most-listened-to morning show and get to be part of our flagship event, Camp Out Hunger. It’s more than just a ‘radio gig’, it’s a literal lifestyle. We live and breathe Central Maine on air, online and on location.”
