Florida Man Radio Rocks The Panhandle

• JVC Broadcasting is proud to announce that Magic Broadcasting News-Talk 101.1 WYOO/Panama City, FL is officially joining JVC’s Florida Man Radio Network, effective Monday, August 4, expanding the brand’s unfiltered talk format across the Florida Panhandle. JVC has an LMA with WYOO that starts Aug. 1, and is in contract to purchase the station.

With this move, WYOO will now carry the full Florida Man Radio lineup, anchored by Shannon Burke in afternoon drive, Bubba the Love Sponge in mornings, and Markley, van Camp & Robbins from noon-3pm, will welcome Panama City’s own Brian Rust to the network as the new 9am-noon CT host.

“This is more than a format flip — it’s a statement,” said John Caracciolo, CEO of JVC Broadcasting. “By bringing WYOO into the Florida Man Radio Network, we’ve created a single, dominant talk radio platform that spans from Pensacola through Panama City and beyond. The Florida Panhandle is one of the most politically engaged and conservative regions in the country. This move allows us to deliver content that speaks directly to the values, voice, and lifestyle of real Floridians.”

“This region is passionate about strong, local voices — and now they’re getting the best of both worlds,” said John Griffo, Market Manager for JVC Broadcasting, and who oversees the Florida Man Radio Network. “With Shannon Burke and Bubba bringing their unique edge, and Panama City’s own Brian Rust joining the network, we are giving the Panhandle a talk radio lineup that’s unstoppable, and that will dominate talk radio in the panhandle. And that’s before we make the big announcement coming soon to the line-up.”

Florida Man Radio can be streamed through the Florida Man Radio App and is also heard on 104.9 WYGC/High Springs, FL.
