Razz Ready For Whatever’s Next

• Beasley Media Group announced that longtime Philadelphia radio personality and programming leader Mark “Razz” Radziewicz, PD and midday talent on Country WXTU (92.5 XTU), has decided to retire, with his final day at the station set for Friday, May 22, capping off an impressive 26-year run in Philly radio.

Razz has been with WXTU since 2006, rising through the ranks from MD in 2010, APD/MD in 2017, and PD in 2019. Prior to joining WXTU, Razz spent six years in afternoon drive at now Active Rock sibling WMMR. Earlier stops include WAAF/Boston, WBZZ/Pittsburgh, and WAXQ and WXRK/NY.

“Razz has played a major role in the success and evolution of WXTU over the years,” said Justin Chase, Beasley’s Chief Content Officer. “From his on-air presence to his leadership as Program Director, he has helped shape the station’s sound and culture in a meaningful way. He leaves behind a strong legacy and a team that has benefited greatly from his leadership.”

“Razz has been a cornerstone of WXTU and our Philadelphia cluster,” said Paul Blake, VP/Market Manager of Beasley Philly. “His passion for Country music, deep connection with our audience, and leadership behind the scenes have made a lasting impact on our station and our community. We are incredibly grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in this next chapter.”

Under Razz’s leadership, WXTU earned multiple nominations for CMA Major Market Radio Station of the Year (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025). As an on-air personality, Razz was also recognized with ACM and CMA Major Market Personality of the Year nominations in 2014 and 2015. The station’s success culminated with 2024 wins for ACM Major Market Radio Station of the Year and an NAB Marconi Award for Country Station of the Year.

“It has been an incredible journey,” said Razz. “I’m so very grateful to the listeners who welcomed me into their lives each day, and to the amazing team I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years. I want to thank the Beasley family for their support, belief, and friendship throughout my time here. Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart.”
