West Roland Right Back To Radio
• He’s baaaack! After a nearly three-year industry hiatus, we are happy to see Roland West is back inside the hallways of a radio group… specifically, Audacy Sacramento, as a Digital-Broadcast-Audio account executive.
West’s radio career includes early stints at the late KNAC/Long Beach and KROQ/Los Angeles, which led to his run as APD/MD at KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco. West later transitioned to the label side, spending 16 years at Island Def Jam, followed by five years with RED Distribution, and more recently, Sr. Director, National Promotion for The Orchard until October 2023.
In making the announcement to the staff, Bill Davis, SVP of Sales said, “Roland brings a wealth of experience to our team, having spent many years on both the broadcast side (KNAC, KROQ, Live 105) and the record label side (Island Def Jam & Sony). We’re excited to have his experience, knowledge, and passion become part of our Sacramento Audacy team.”
