Sabina Widmann Exits TelevisaUnivision

RAMP has learned that Sabina Widmann has exited TelevisaUnivision after 18 years as her position as President, Regional Radio Manager has been eliminated.

Widmann broke the news in a LinkedIn post that reads, in part, “I first joined TelevisaUnivision in 2005 as an Account Executive, and quickly rose to be Director of Sales and President, General Manager for Univision San Diego before becoming a Regional Manager over 5 markets. The professional growth, experience and the leadership positions I have held at Univision have prepared me well for my next chapter. I will always appreciate the amazing relationships I’ve built over the past 18 years. My teams in McAllen, Las Vegas and San Diego are incredible and working alongside them in recent years has been the highlight of my career.”

It’s worth noting that Widmann’s mother, Nancy Widmann, spent 25 years with CBS Radio, serving as President from 1988-1997.

In closing, Widmann said, “I am excited to explore new opportunities where I can use my 20+ years of media experience. In addition, to my experience in the audio media industry, I am bi-lingual and bi-cultural, having lived over 5 years of my adult life in Latin America. One of my main passions is helping clients connect to the Hispanic Consumer. Thank you in advance for any connections, advice or opportunities you can offer. The best is yet to come!” [Photo from LinkedIn]
