Baisden Returns To Hot 105/Miami

Michael Baisden is making his triumphant return to afternoon drive on Cox Media Group Urban AC WHQT (Hot 105)/Miami, effective Feb. 20. The Michael Baisden Show is syndicated from sister WALR (Kiss 104)/Atlanta. “Michael was a part of the Hot 105 Super brand from 2007 to 2013 with a proven track record of success,” said Phil Michaels-Trueba, Hot 105 Director of Branding and Programming. “I’m happy to welcome Michael, George Willborn and Tamara G back home to our already stellar lineup of icons, legends, and superstars on the Hot 105 Super brand that super serves our community!”

As Trueba explains to RAMP, no one is leaving, which is usually the trend when a syndicated show debuts. “We value our people and our future,” he said. “We’re splitting shifts to accommodate Michael. The revised Hot 105 line-up looks like this — 6-9am: The New Tom Joyner Morning Show; 9am-noon; James T; noon-3pm: Rick Party with Benji Brown; 3-7pm: The Michael Baisden Show, followed from 7-midnight by The Quiet Storm with Freddie Cruz (32 years strong!)
