Wolf Wakes Up With New Folks
• UPDATED: Perfectly timed to the arrival of new PD Mike Preston, Cumulus Country KPLX (99.5 The Wolf)/Dallas announces the launch of The All New Wake Up With The Wolf Show, hosted by Brian Moote and market veteran Tara Ward.
Moote is a stand-up comedian and major market radio pro who formerly co-hosted the morning show with Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo on Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio)/Los Angeles. He previously co-hosted the syndicated The Bert Showand did mornings on KIRO/Seattle.
The move is a homecoming for Ms. Ward, who previously co-hosted The Wake Up With The Wolf Show from 1998-2008. She started her career across the street at iHeartMedia Top 40 KHKS (106.1 Kiss FM) working on The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and she has spent the past nine years working in various roles for iHeartMedia Dallas, including morning co-host on KDMX (102.9 NOW).
