The Programming Dept: Paul Andresen
• Midwest Communications’ AC 101.9 KELO-FM/Sioux Falls, SD welcomes Paul Andresen as its new Brand Manager and afternoon personality, starting Feb. 19.
Andresen (pictured) is an Atlanta native and a 2017 University of Georgia graduate, who is currently Operations Manager for Golden Isles Broadcasting in Brunswick, GA, doing afternoons on Hot AC WXMK (Magic 105.9) and programming News-Talk 93.7 WBQO. Prior to his promotion to OM, Andresen was APD & Promotions Director for the cluster. He previously served as a Technical Producer for Cox Media Group’s WSB/Atlanta.
In making the announcement of Andresen’s imminent arrival, Sioux Falls Operations Manager Tom Gjerdrum said, “We’re looking forward to Paul joining our team in Sioux Falls. He is a bright up-and-coming broadcaster with a tremendous future. His expected contributions to our iconic AC station, KELO-FM, on the air and in his role as Brand Manager bring new vision and excitement to our team.”
Andresen succeeds Rob Poulin, who left in January 2019 to take an on-air position with Hubbard Broadcasting in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
