Please Help Find Larry
• Our thoughts are with iHeartMedia personality Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton and his wife, Marina, who are dealing with an unthinkable family issue — Marina’s stepfather, Lawrence “Larry” Atchison, 64, has been missing since February 27 and the police have been desperately trying to find him. Atchison, who was diagnosed with dementia three years ago, walked out of his home in the neighborhood of Bennett Valley in Santa Rosa, CA, and has not been seen since.
“This is the longest search we’ve had in years,” said Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Dillion. “We don’t have any information as to where he might be, or where he’s gone. We have nothing now going into our third week.”
Atchison’s family held a candlelight vigil in the rain this past Sunday, which drew several hundred people who showed up to pay their respects and offer their support. That’s Larry’s wife, Cecilia Mariana Atchison speaking (below), with Sean and Marina to her left.
Hamilton, who has moved his remote broadcast trailer to Santa Rosa during this trying time, said, “How can a man walk out of his home in such a densely populated neighborhood, and only gets captured by a couple home surveillance cameras? With such a tragic aliment, he’s still always smiling and never heard him once complain about what he was facing. Our family is determined to find him.” Hamilton adds, “The local radio community has been absolutely outstanding in helping in the search for Larry, especially Dray Lopez of KSXYand Andre de Channes, COO of Wine Country Broadcasting.”
To that end, the family has established a GoFundMe account to aid in the efforts to feed and assist family members and volunteers who are working at a command center around-the-clock, as well as for printing materials, office supplies, coordination of legal and investigative professionals, and other aid.
