Washington Upped To OM, Alpha Media Dayton
• Alpha Media Dayton promotes from within and elevates Kevin Washington to Operations Manager of the five-station group — Rhythmic WDHT (Hot 102.9), Urban AC 92.1 WROU, Adult Hits WGTZ (92.9 Jack FM), Classic Country WCLI (101.5 Hank FM), and ESPN affiliate WING-AM 1410, effective Oct. 1.
Washington has more than 20 years of experience with Alpha Media Dayton and most recently held the position of APD of WDHT and Promotions Director.
In making the announcement, SVP/Market Manager Brett Beshore commented, “I’m thrilled to be promoting Kevin into this pivotal role with Alpha Dayton. Washington will succeed Clay Church, who earlier this week was named Program Director of Beasley’s Rhythmic AC WMGC (105.1 The Bounce) and Urban AC WDMK (105.9 Kiss-FM)/Detroit.
