Mountain Rises In Chico
• The city of Chico, CA has been gifted with a new radio station — 105.7 The Mountain, a fully digital Hot AC station broadcasting on KYIX-HD3 and 105.7 FM via K289CH.
Owned by Butte Broadcasting Company, Inc. and operated locally by Rob Austin, Operations Manager of The Mountain of Chico Inc., 105.7 The Mountain is proud to be Chico’s first fully digital radio station, displaying artist and title information directly on your car or home radio display — a first for the local market.
The Mountain’s on-air talent is primarily syndicated programming, with a weekday lineup that looks like this — 6-10am: The TJ Show • 10am-2pm: The John & Heidi Show • 2-6pm: Anna & Raven • 6-11pm: Liveline! With Mason • 11pm-1am: ClubJam • 1-6am: Nessa Overnight.
