Karen Carson: Your 2025 MIW Airblazer
• Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting, in partnership with Morning Show Boot Camp is delighted to announce Karen Carson, host of Karen Carson In The Morning on Audacy’s WNEW (NEW 102.7)/New York as the recipient of the 10th annual 2025 MIW Airblazer Award.
Each year’s recipient is recognized for her dedication and contributions to the broadcast industry and to the communities she serves and is carefully selected, as is tradition, by the prior year’s honoree. In this case, that was Premiere-syndicated personality Delilah, who said, “Karen is an achiever, a performer, a most talented air personality. She’s not new to this industry, having worked hard and sacrificed a lot to gain the opportunities she has earned. Her talents are for all to hear in morning drive on NEW 102.7 FM, scoring big wins and top rankings. Along the way, she’s been real, sharing many of her own life experiences and finding opportunities to be very charitable to those in need, particularly in the holiday season. Karen Carson has earned this Airblazer Award for her tenacity, talent and her trailblazing ways, and I’m fortunate enough to bestow the honor to her.”
