Audacy Urges All Of Us To Listen

• Audacy’s “I’m Listening” initiative continues to lead the national conversation on mental health with its annual broadcast special. In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day on Sept. 10 and National Suicide Prevention Month, all Audacy stations nationwide will air the “I’m Listening” broadcast that week, uniting listeners nationwide to support mental health awareness and advocacy. “I’m Listening” is a safe space for those struggling with mental health, encouraging them to learn about mental wellness tools and showing them that they are never alone.

The special will once again be hosted by Carson Daly (NBC’s TODAY and The Voice), and Katie Neal, host of Audacy’s nationally syndicated Katie & Company. Medical experts returning this year include Dr. Alfiee M. Breland-Noble, psychologist, scientist, philanthropist and founder of the mental health nonprofit, The AAKOMA Project; and Dr. Christine Yu Moutier, Chief Medical Officer of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

Celebrity guests will include Cynthia Erivo, Audacy LAUNCH artist Alex Warren, recording artists Kane Brown, LISA, JENNIE, Lewis Capaldi, Kylie Minogue, Shirley Manson, Tate McRae, 311, Amy Lee, Ne-Yo, producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, and more.

“We know firsthand radio’s unique superpower to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and ‘I’m Listening’ reflects our unwavering commitment to showing how talk truly saves lives,” said Dave Richards, Audacy SVP of Programming. “‘I’m Listening’ creates trusted, compassionate conversations that surround our listeners with both support and community.
