• JVC Broadcasting is proud to announce the promotion of Scott Mallory to Operations Manager for the Ft. Walton Beach cluster, and the addition of radio veteran Brad Miller as the new Production and Promotions Lead.

Mallory (left), who has served as as APD/afternoon host for Country WHWY (Highway 98.1) since 2021 will now oversee day-to-day programming operations, team coordination, and brand execution across JVC’s Ft. Walton Beach group, which also includes Mainstream Rock WBON (92.1/97.7 The Bone), Adult Hits WWAV (102.1 The Wave), and Hot Talk 103.1 WZLB (Florida Man Radio).

This is Mallory’s second tour of duty with Highway 98.1 — he co-hosted the Scratch & Mallory Morning Show from 2014-2019, following a decade of service with WXEG (103.9 The X) and WGTZ (Z-93)/Dayton, OH.

In a statement, the company noted, “Scott has proven himself time and time again. He has naturally grown into this role through his leadership, work ethic, and day-to-day execution. This promotion is a well-earned reflection of the work he’s already been doing and the respect he’s earned from the entire team.”

Miller brings more than 25 years of radio experience, with a deep background in programming, production, imaging, and promotions. The company noted, “We’re thrilled to have Brad’s experience and knowledge in the building. His track record and passion for radio make him a tremendous asset to our team and the brands we serve.”
