Lady Vee Comes Home To Kixie 107
• Connoisseur Mississippi is excited to announce the return of the legendary Lady Vee to middays at Urban AC WKXI (Kixie 107)/Jackson, MS.
Known throughout the state of Mississippi and the Mid-South for her engaging on-air presence and decades-long radio career, Lady Vee comes home to Kixie 107 following a brief retirement.
“We are absolutely ecstatic to welcome Lady Vee back home to Kixie 107,” said Stan Branson, Operations Manager for Connoisseur Mississippi. “Our listeners have missed her incredible energy and vibrant voice. At 6’ 3,” she always stands tall, but her talent and connection to the community are what truly elevate our station. Kixie 107 just wasn’t the same without her.”
Lady Vee’s career has earned numerous honors and recognitions. Earlier this year she was inducted into the Black Music Awards Hall of Fame, joining a distinguished group of gospel, blues, and R&B legends recognized for their contributions to music and broadcasting. She has also been honored by the Mississippi State Capitol Legislature and recognized as an Outstanding Citizen by the City of Jackson for her service and impact within the community.
