Moore Named Pres./Market Mgr., Hubbard DC

• Declan Moore has been named as the new President/Market Manager for Hubbard’s Washington, DC cluster, which includes the historic WTOP, Federal News Network (FNN) and the 2060 Digital Washington, DC office. He will succeed Joel Oxley, who will be retiring at the end of the year after three decades of successful leadership.

The announcement was made by Ginny Hubbard, CEO of Hubbard | Media That Connects who said, “We are thrilled to welcome Declan as the next leader of WTOP, FNN and 2060 Digital in Washington, DC,” Hubbard said. “While he has very big shoes to fill following in the footsteps of Joel Oxley, Declan has a strong track record of retaining the essence and legacy of media brands while leading them into the future. A native of Ireland, Moore was most recently Head of International for Amazon’s Wondery. Before that, Moore was with National Geographic in Washington, DC for 23 years, serving in numerous roles including Chief Media Officer and President, Publishing and Digital Media for National Geographic Society and CEO of National Geographic Partners.
