Train Rolls Through Cleveland Again!

Last Saturday night, Train performed for some 14,000 fans at Cleveland’s Blossom Music Center. It was later reported that many fans in the lawn section were unable to hear the show properly after a power outage knocked out the sound to that part of the venue. Always responsive to its large and loyal fan base, Train yesterday announced that they would return to Cleveland tonight — this time at Jacobs Pavilion — and do a free make-good show for those fans that were holding lawn tickets from Saturday’s show

The band yesterday tweeted the good news to its local fans, saying, in part, “Cleveland, listen up! We will be returning to town tomorrow, June 28, to play a special free show at the Jacobs Pavilion at 8pm. This show is exclusively for those of you who paid for lawn tickets and experienced sound issues the other night at Blossom. While the issues were beyond our control, we still want to make things right.” They added, “Please note that the show is limited to paid lawn ticket holders only. You must present proof of a paid lawn ticket from the Blossom show to the Jacobs Pavilion box office in order to get in. Tickets will be limited and people will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. No other tickets will be honored. We can’t wait to show you guys a good time.”

To properly seal the deal, Train’s Pat Monahan jumped on the phone on yesterday with several area radio stations, including WQAL and WDOK/Cleveland, WKDD/Akron, WHBC and WDJQ/Canton to help promote the show and make sure everyone in the area that experienced the audio mishap got a second chance to see them again.
