• Today, August 31, has been designated as International Overdose Awareness Day — to mark this occasion, Nikki Sixx will dedicate four hours of his Premiere-syndicated Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx to raise awareness of the growing U.S. opioid crisis.
Sixx, who detailed his near-fatal drug addiction in the best-selling book The Heroin Diaries, will welcome guests Dr. Oz, award-winning journalist Beth Warren from the Louisville Courier-Journal and Erik Gunn, a former drug addict and dealer who recently shared his story with Warren for a Courier-Journal series on addiction and recovery. Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx runs 7-11pm ET. The show is also available on SixxSense.com and the show’s iHeartRadio channel.
• Mr. Master Inc. announces a major expansion with the addition of radio vet Trent Muldrow and new larger office space. Muldrow will provide technical support, training and installations for the company’s AIM and MediaShooterPro software. A native of South Carolina, Muldrow will remain on the East Coast allowing Mr. Master to expand regular tech support hours to 8am-8pm ET.
Muldrow (left) was most recently Director of Engineering for the Eastern Region of Alpha Media, overseeing 15 markets. Prior to that he served in various engineering, IT and programming roles with Alpha Media, YMF Media, ICBC Broadcast Holdings, Clear Channel, AM/FM and the University of South Carolina.
Mr. Master also announced its corporate headquarters has moved into a larger facility — the new address is 28720 Roadside Drive, Suite 310, Agoura Hills, CA.
