Rosenberg Reclaims His Shade Spot

With Real Late, Rosenberg returns to a format that helped define his career, blending deep industry insight with his signature humor and candid interview style. “Real Late has always been about creating a space where hip-hop feels honest again, where the conversations go deeper than the surface,” said Rosenberg. “Coming back to Shade 45 feels like home, and I’m excited to build something that reflects where the culture is right now while still honoring what made people love the show in the first place.”
The deal was brought together with the support of Joshua “J1” Raiford, VP of Music Programming at SiriusXM & Pandora, who said, “There’s a real opportunity right now to bring intention back to how we program and present hip-hop. Real Late is about more than interviews — it’s about context, discovery, and giving artists a space where their stories can land properly. Rosenberg has always had that ability, and this show gives us a platform to do it at the highest level.”
In addition to his current co-host role on the Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, Rosenberg also co-hosts Don, Hahn & Rosenberg from 4-7pm ET on ESPN Radio, and is a correspondent for the WWE Network. He was previously a cohost on the former Ebro in the Morning on HOT 97/New York, and also appeared on the Juan Epstein podcast, VH1’s This Is Hot 97, MTV’s Hip Hop Squares, and Complex’s Open Late.
